You do not need to be "online" to use the "Online Bible". This name was chosen long before there was a world wide web as we now know it. The programming and as much as you choose of the content of the DVD can be copied to your hard drive and, in fact, it will run much faster from your hard drive than from the DVD.
The Online Bible for Windows DVD-ROM package includes both the English material and all the material in other languages. It contains more than 30 English Bible versions including the New King James Version, The Message, God's Word to the Nations and The English Standard Version.
In addition to all of the ready to use material on the DVD there are several versions that require royalty payment to unlock, notably NIV, NAS, NRSV, NLT, ESV and Amplified. The CEV is available on a separate CD. It operates with and is compatible with your Online Bible.
This DVD also contains ten ancient languages texts (Greek, Hebrew, Latin and Syriac), 3 sets of Greek and Hebrew Lexicons, 20 Dictionaries, 45 commentaries and more than 350 Devotional, theological, historical and creationist books as well as a set of Bible maps.
